Malabar Gold and Diamonds, one of the largest gold and diamond jewellery retailers in the world, is launching one of the biggest promotions across its network, spread in the GCC and Singapore. The promotional campaign – which starts from April 23, will run for 11 days till May 3 in Oman showrooms.

Shoppers spending RO50 will be eligible for the raffle draws. While anyone spending RO500 on diamond is entitled to 1gm free gold coin. “It is that time of the year again, when people buy gold and diamond jewellery to mark various occasions and we are happy to offer the biggest seasonal promotion to our valued customers with the latest collections,” M P Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Group, said.

“In addition to the best design collections to match various moods and occasions, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is giving away more than Dh1.56mn (RO163,332) worth of gold to customers shopping at our outlets across the GCC and Singapore. “We are happy and proud to be able to share the joy with our customers who shop with us during this period.”

This is the biggest such promotions this month, and promises to increase footfall across the retail outlets. With gold price at a much competitive level, shoppers are expected to cash in on the new offering on both new jewellery and free exchange of the 22 carat gold jewellery.

In Oman, the company will give away four winners 250gm of gold each through four raffle draws. Customers could also enjoy a zero deduction offer on 22 carat gold exchange and free gold coins with special jewellery collection launched as a part of the promotion. Customers could also walk away with 1gm gold coin free with every RO500 jewellery purchase and above.

The company is also waiving making charges on 8gm gold coins. The company offers zero deduction on 22 carat gold exchange. To add more glitter to this festive season, group announced the launch of its latest outlet in Oman.

The jewellery retailer opens its new outlet on Ruwi High Street. The store will be inaugurated by Indian actress Karisma Kapoor on April 26 at 5.30pm. This is the group’s 115th outlet globally and 6th outlet in Oman. The new store will take part in ‘The Great Gold Rush’ campaign.
